Scott and Haley’s Sonnenalp wedding this past September was one of the most joyful days I’ve been a part of. After we met over coffee, Haley and Scott said they wanted me to be their Vail wedding photographer. I was stoked to be a part of this day.
In the early afternoon, Haley and her bridesmaids applied their makeup and sipped on mimosas. Meanwhile, Scott had a relaxing afternoon getting ready while the sunshine poured through his room.
I headed out with Haley and her bridesmaids as we strolled along the sidewalks of Vail. The blush bridesmaid dresses made a pop against the dark green trees. Any Vail wedding photographer would have been giddy over this Sonnenalp wedding.
Along a quiet stream, in the shade of evergreen and aspen trees, Haley and Scott committed their lives to each other
Scott and Haley waited to see each other until the ceremony, and her entrance prompted a tearful reaction from Scott. These two read their vows and had a celebratory cheer as they were announced husband and wife.
As you can see, we didn’t take too many romantic portraits as Haley and Scott laughed together during their time alone. I let it happen because it’s real and oh so magical.
This Sonnenalp wedding reception was decorated with elaborate centerpieces and greenery galore. Chandeliers hung from the ceiling in the “greenhouse” portion of the reception. Haley’s father opened up the night with a toast that had me crying as wellFeast your eyes on this delightful day
Thank you to all the vendors who made Haley and Scott’s Sonnenalp wedding a success!
